As the Iroquois Chapters season winds down, we held our annual Chapter Picnic on June 5th. If you missed the picnic this year – you sure missed a good one. Attended by 48 people, the event was highlighted by Peter Thompson being named Person of the Year. Congratulations to Peter for his dedication to the Chapter, his art work donations, and always willing to pitch in attitude.
Those who attended were treated to a beautiful night, good food, lots of friends, wonderful raffle prizes and great conversation. If you weren’t able to attend this one, there is always next year.
This year’s winners of the Fund Raiser Raffle were:

We were glad to see Bill Lansley, Onondaga County Parks Commissioner and Steve Wowelko, President of Onondaga County Federation of Sportsman’s Association in attendance as well.
A Big Thank You goes out to all who donated prizes, as well my Board of Directors and Officers who so freely give of their time. To the cooks Marty Ivery (Master of the grill) and Mike Hyde ( The best clam steamer east of the Mississippi) a Special THANKX! Enjoy your summer everyone and hope you get out and fish a lot!
