Fabius Brook is located in Onondaga County near the town of Fabius. There are 1.4 miles of Pulic Fishing Rights (PFR’s) along the brook. There are some wild brown and brook trout in Fabius Brook and it’s also stocked annually by Carpenter’s Brook Fish Hatchery with around 1,500 one year-old brook trout (9″-11″).
An interesting fact, Fabius Brook is one of one-hundred and fifty streams that makes up the Chesapeake Bay watershed which is surrounded by the states of Maryland and Virginia. Fabius Brook is the most northwest tributary to the Chesapeake Bay.
